The Telesales Representative - Pharmacy is responsible for driving sales of pharmaceutical products through telephone-based outreach, customer engagement, and relationship management. The role combines product knowledge, persuasive communication, and sales coordination to achieve revenue targets and enhance customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is proactive, results-driven, and customer-focused, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with clients remotely.
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Increase sales of pharmacy products through telesales channels.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Provide accurate product information and guidance to clients.
Support the pharmacy's overall sales and marketing strategy.
Ensure efficient order processing and follow-up.
Enhance visibility and accessibility of pharmaceutical offerings.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales & Customer Engagement
Make outbound calls to promote and sell pharmaceutical products.
Handle inbound inquiries and convert them into sales opportunities.
Provide detailed product information, usage guidance, and benefits.
Upsell and cross-sell products to maximize revenue.
Order Management & Coordination
Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
Coordinate with the pharmacy team to ensure timely delivery.
Track orders and follow up with clients on fulfillment status.
Client Relationship Management
Maintain a database of customers and prospects.
Build long-term relationships through consistent follow-up.
Address customer concerns and escalate issues when necessary.
Support loyalty and retention initiatives.
Reporting & Documentation
Maintain telesales records and call logs.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
Track performance against sales targets.
Provide feedback on customer trends and market insights.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
Ensure adherence to pharmacy regulations and ethical sales practices.
Maintain confidentiality of customer and patient information.
Follow company policies and industry standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 2 - 3 years' experience in telesales, pharmaceutical sales, or customer service.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and industry regulations is highly preferred.
Experience in client-facing or call center environments is an added advantage.
