Job Description


Testing of Soyabeans and byproducts to ensure quality of products.


Requirements


Grade 12/ NQF4
Relevant tertiary qualification will serve as recommendation
Previous experience in a similar role is essential
Good mathematical/analytical skills
Willing to work overtime when required


Duties and Responsibilities


Ensure correct testing according to specifications.
Ensure that specifications are in range to prevent financial losses.
Daily testing of raw materials and final products according to VKB's policy and procedure to ensure quality products.
Obtain samples for testing according to the prescribed specification and VKB standards.
Accurate record keeping of all sample results.
Report any problems with testing raw materials and final products to management.
Ensuring that the laboratory and equipment are kept in a neat and clean state.
Comply continuously to the Quality Control Policy according to internal quality control and legislation to ensure the quality of the product.
Comply with Occupational Health and Safety requirements and Food safety requirements as per standards and procedures.
To liaise with internal departments on an ongoing basis to ensure quality service and products.
To successfully complete all allocated training interventions by direct manager.
