ROLE OVERVIEW
The successful candidate will play a vital role in our perioperative services by working closely with surgeons, anaesthesiologists, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care for patients undergoing surgical procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide scrub, circulating, and recovery nursing support across a range of surgical specialties.
Prepare the operating theatre, instruments, and equipment for procedures.
Maintain strict aseptic technique and infection control standards.
Monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively.
Assist in emergency and elective surgeries.
Collaborate with the team to optimise theatre efficiency and patient outcomes.
Mentor junior staff and participate in training and quality improvement initiatives.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Nursing/KRCHN
Postgraduate qualification in perioperative or theater nursing is an added advantage
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a theater environment
A valid practice license (NCK)
Active BLS & ACLS certification.
