Key Responsibilities


Handle flight reservations and ticket bookings for domestic and international destinations.
Search and compare available flight options, schedules, fares, and airline policies.
Issue, reissue, revalidate, and cancel flight tickets accurately.
Process ticket changes, refunds, voids, and itinerary adjustments in line with airline policies.
Provide clients with accurate information on fares, baggage allowance, travel requirements, and ticket conditions.
Confirm passenger details and ensure accuracy before ticket issuance.
Follow up on pending reservations, payments, confirmations, and ticketing deadlines.
Assist clients with travel itinerary planning and flight-related enquiries.
Monitor airline schedule changes, cancellations, delays, and other updates and communicate them to affected clients.
Maintain proper records of bookings, tickets, payments, refunds, and client transactions.
Coordinate with airlines, consolidators, and other travel service providers when necessary.
Ensure all ticketing activities comply with company procedures and airline regulations.
Provide prompt and professional customer service before, during, and after ticket issuance.
Follow up on unresolved ticketing issues and ensure timely resolution.
Prepare ticketing and sales reports as required by management.
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor or management.


Requirements


B.Sc., HND, or OND in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
1 - 3 years of experience in airline ticketing or travel operations is an advantage.
Knowledge of airline reservation/ticketing systems such as Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo, or other GDS platforms.
Good knowledge of airline fares, ticketing rules, baggage policies, and travel procedures.
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Good computer and internet skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet ticketing deadlines.
Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
Professional, responsive, and customer-focused attitude.
