Tipper Truck Operator at Victory Farms

We are seeking a Tipper Truck Operator who will be responsible for safely transporting, loading, and unloading materials like sand, gravel, or construction debris using the tipper truck. You will equally be expected to perform daily truck inspections, have the ability to manage the hydraulic tipping mechanisms, secure loads to prevent any spillages, adhere to Victory Farms' site and safety regulations, and maintain accurate logs of tasks assigned.

Key Responsibilities & Duties


Vehicle Operation & Safety: Safely drive and maneuver heavy vehicles, including reversing into tight spaces. He / she should adhere to the site-specific safety policies and the Kenyan traffic laws.
Load Management: Ensure materials are loaded correctly, balanced, and within weight restrictions.
Material Handling: Operate hydraulic tipping mechanisms for precise unloading.
Equipment Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip safety checks (brakes, tires, lights) and report mechanical issues.
Report keeping and Documentation: Maintain accurate driving logs, delivery tickets, and fuel consumption records.
Communication: Coordinate with dispatchers, site supervisors, and other personnel.


Key Skills & Requirements


Licensing: Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Category E, Class CE - Articulated vehicles and heavy trucks with trailers
Physical Ability: Capability to perform manual inspections and handle various weather conditions.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of vehicle mechanics and safe tipping procedures.
Experience: Proven experience operating similar heavy machinery.
