Toptal: Data Labeler - Food Delivery Platform

We are looking for a Data Annotation Specialist to support the training of machine learning models by labeling and verifying data. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to ensure high data quality for optimal model performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Label and Verify Data: Accurately annotate data to train machine learning models, imitating the actions of a perfect model and comparing them with model outputs.

• Image Analysis: Analyze images uploaded from various sources and of different qualities, documenting item names, prices, descriptions, and sizes.

• Menu Matching: Match digitalized menu data with the corresponding digital menus to ensure consistency and accuracy.

• Price Verification: Verify item price markups and perform final checks on templates to ensure data integrity.

• Expert Language/Communication in: Malay

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data annotation.

• Ability to work with both digital and physical versions of catalogs, recognizing differences.

• Familiarity with data annotation tools and machine learning concepts is a plus.
• Ability to efficiently process data, with an average of 5 menus per hour.

Additional Information:

• The initial project involves annotating 1,000 menus in the first batch, with a total of 4,000 menus across multiple languages.
• Templates and data will be provided, and data is updated in batches.
