The Training & Development officer will design, manage, and deliver training programs focused on digital skills, entrepreneurship, and digital marketing for women entrepreneurs across Africa. The role involves developing training curricula, facilitating workshops, managing training projects, and coordinating trainers and facilitators to ensure high-quality delivery and measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
Develop practical, engaging training curricula on digital skills, entrepreneurship, and digital marketing.
Customize training content to suit different levels of entrepreneurs (beginner to advanced).
Continuously update training materials based on industry trends and participant feedback.
Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions for women entrepreneurs.
Deliver interactive and results-driven workshops that enhance participants' business capabilities.
Support participants in applying learned skills to their businesses.
Plan, coordinate, and manage training programs and capacity-building projects from start to finish.
Develop training schedules, implementation plans, and delivery timelines.
Track training outcomes, attendance, and impact metrics.
Evaluate training effectiveness and participant progress, and prepare reports on training outcomes, impact, and recommendations for improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Communications, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum of 4 - 6 years' experience in training, facilitation, capacity building, or learning and development.
Strong experience in digital skills training, entrepreneurship development, and/or digital marketing.
Proven experience managing training programs or projects.
Experience working with NGOs, development organizations, or social impact programs is an advantage.
