Job Purpose
To install, maintain, and support all transmission links and equipment across the network, ensuring consistent uptime, stable connectivity, and compliance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Installation & Configuration:
Carry out installation, alignment, and configuration of Huawei, Cambium, and Ubiquiti radios and antennas.
Conduct link testing and ensure optimal performance before handover.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Perform regular preventive maintenance on all transmission links.
Respond promptly to link faults and ensure timely restoration of service.
Work closely with NOC and other departments during incident escalation.
Network Optimization:
Monitor signal strength, throughput, and link stability.
Recommend and implement corrective actions for performance improvement.
Documentation:
Record all site activities, configurations, and maintenance logs accurately.
Submit daily or weekly job reports to the Team Manager.
Compliance & Safety:
Adhere to safety standards and site access procedures.
Ensure all installations are neat, secure, and weather-resistant.
Key Requirements
Education: OND / B.Sc. / HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
Experience: Minimum of 1 - 4 years in transmission or wireless network maintenance.
Technical Skills:
Strong hands-on knowledge of Huawei transmission equipment (RTN, OptiX, etc.).
Proficiency in Cambium and Ubiquiti radio configuration and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with IP addressing, VLANs, and basic routing principles.
Ability to interpret link plans, path profiles, and network diagrams.
Soft Skills: Good communication, teamwork, time management, and problem-solving ability
