Requirements for Appointment
Be a Kenyan Citizen;
Have a Certificate in any of the following disciplines: - Social Sciences, Economics, Public Administration; Business Management, Finance, Statistics, Entrepreneurship, Engineering or any other equivalent and relevant qualification from a recognized institution; and
Have a certificate in computer application skills from a recognized institution.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in Providing guidance for the proper use and safe operations of motor vehicles and plant;
Establish and maintain fleet management records for utilization of all motor vehicles and plant;
Ensure accurate maintenance of work tickets;
Ensure overall cleanliness of vehicles and plant;
Establish and implement maintenance schedules for vehicles and plant;
Ensure that all vehicles and plant are insured;
Assist in implementing fleet administration operating standards; and
Assist in initiating and directing fleet risk management training on safety and accident prevention programmes for drivers and plant operators.
