Salary: R159 003.36 (Post level 15)
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Basic Literacy Code C Drivers' License with PrDP (PDP)
1 - 2 years' experience
KEY PERFORMANCES AREAS:
Carry out the prescribed pre-trip inspection by seeing that the oil, fuel, water, fan belt, lights, mirrors, brakes and tires of the vehicle are in order. •
Report any problems to supervisor. Ensure that the vehicle is clean.
Drive the truck from base to working sites. Transport workers and equipment.
Ensure the safety of workers during loading and off -loading operations. Make sure that refuse (grass, branches, litter, etc.) are properly loaded onto the truck and off loaded by the workers
Transporting tools to various areas. Transporting officials to various areas to perform their duties.
Digging and trimming holes for planting of trees. Spraying herbicides and pesticides as directed by supervisor.
Cleaning and removing rubble. Also performing other duties as indicated by supervisor. Transporting equipment to various parks and municipal gardens.
