Job Description
We are seeking Trust Officers with 3-5 years experience in a trustee company handling capital market transactions both public and private sector.
The role involves marketing and managing trust accounts, overseeing capital market transactions, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Market for trust businesses offering various products and transactions
Administer trust accounts and ensure regulatory compliance
Oversee capital market transactions involving bonds, securities, structured finance and security management.
Maintain the highest standards of fiduciary duty in managing trust assets and ensuring the fulfillment of the client's wishes.
Carry out trust disbursements, investment decisions, and administrative duties in alignment with client instructions and legal obligations.
Support the execution of capital market transactions with proper documentation and compliance
Prepare reports on trust activities and portfolio performance to the regulators.
Work with clients to understand their unique goals, needs, and financial situations.
Monitor and mitigate risks related to trust administration
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and investment teams
Requirements
A degree in Law, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in trust business
Strong knowledge of trust administration and capital market products
Excellent communication and analytical skills
SEC sponsorship is an added advantage.
