A family is looking for a TUTOR for their child in Grade R
Area: Riviera, Pretoria
Ages: Child in Grade R
Working hours: Three days per week: 17h30 - 18h30
School holiday hours: no needed, school terms only
Duties:
Tutoring in age appropriate English and Maths skills. Develop letter recognition, teach letter sounds (phonics), encourage correct pencil grip and pre-writing skills, assist with tracing, copying and writing letters and simple words, read age-appropriate books to develop listening and comprehension skills. Teach rhyming words and sound awareness, support pronunciation and language development.
Teach number recognition (0 - 20 and beyond as appropriate), counting skills, teach number sequencing and number formation, patterns and sequencing. Plan engaging, age-appropriate lessons tailored to the learner's developmental stage. Create a fun, positive and encouraging learning environment. Support the development of fine motor skills through cutting, colouring, threading and drawing activities.
Requirements: Experience with Grade R tutoring / Early Childhood Development qualification
Start date: ASAP start - permanent
Salary: R250 - R300 per hour

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
Must have a clear criminal record
Must have a passion for children
Must have Matric
Must have a South African ID document.
