Job Objective
Reporting to the Head of Department - Business and Economics
Duties and responsibilities
Teaching Course Units in areas allocated by the Head of Department,
Evaluating the outcomes of individualsÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂ learning through formal assessment,
Assisting in the development of learning materials and producing study manuals, preparing schemes of work and maintaining records
Monitoring student progress, achievement and attendance and following through, in any case, requires attention to their full logical conclusion
Setting, moderating, invigilating and marking of examinations and other assessments
Carrying out research, writing research grant proposals, and obtaining support for research funding in line with the UniversityÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂs objectives.
Seek and participate in consultancies.
Dissemination of research outputs.
Providing mentorship and career guidance to students and staff.
Carrying out administrative duties
Any other duties as they may be assigned from time to time by the supervisors or as captured in your detailed Job Description .
qualification and experience
Master of Science in Health Systems Management degree or in a relevant field from a recognised/accredited University in the relevant field
Bachelor of Science in Health Systems Management degree or in the relevant field from a recognised/accredited University.
At least three years of post-qualification work experience;
Demonstrated potential for university teaching and research.
Commitment to high-quality teaching and fostering a positive learning environment for students.
