Leading, mentoring, and managing Cath Lab staff.
Overseeing daily operations, scheduling, and efficient patient flow.
Managing budgets, stock, and cost-effective resource utilization.
Ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
Supervising maintenance and optimal use of specialised equipment.
Driving quality improvement, risk management, and patient safety initiatives.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery.
Responsible for promoting the discipline: marketing.
MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS
ÃÂïÃÂûÃÂÿRegistered Nurse with a valid registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
Postgraduate qualification in Critical Care /Nursing Management (advantageous).
Minimum 5 - 7 years' experience in a Cath Lab or interventional cardiology environment.
Diploma in Nursing Administration is essential.
The ideal person will have willingness to assume job ownership, work independently and apply principles of continuous improvement.
Computer literacy - MS Word & Excel.
Proven leadership and people management experience.
Strong knowledge of cardiac procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, and Cath Lab protocols.
Experience with advanced Cath Lab equipment and imaging technology.
Sound understanding of infection prevention, radiation safety, and risk management.
Financial and operational management experience (budgeting, stock control).
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, quality assurance, and accreditation standards.
