Role Purpose
The role will monitor and enhance user satisfaction across systems and digital platforms by improving usability, accessibility, and overall user experience.
Collaborate across teams to translate business and user needs into intuitive, engaging design solutions that support Momentum Insure's strategic objectives.
Requirements
Experience and Qualifications:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related design field.
2-5 years of experience in UX/UI design.
Experience designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.
Exposure to or experience in the Short-term Insurance industry will be an advantage.
Proficiency in UX software such as InVision, Axure, Balsamiq.
Duties & Responsibilities
Internal Process
Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to confirm business objectives and define user goals and flows.
Build wireframes and convert them into functional prototypes.
Work with technical leads to design user experiences within platform and technical constraints.
Work closely with development and QA teams to ensure successful implementation of designs.
Plan, prioritise, and conduct user research and usability testing; facilitate user test sessions, analyse findings, and iterate on designs to ensure continuous improvement
Develop personas, journey maps, task analyses, and user flows.
Produce specifications including storyboards, scenarios, flowcharts, prototypes, and documentation.
Communicate findings, conceptual ideas, and design rationale clearly to stakeholders.
Manage the UX design process and track issues to resolution.
Improve systems by analysing current practices and designing enhancements.
Apply functional coding knowledge (HTML, CSS, JS) to ensure seamless implementation.
Create surveys and gather user insights across multiple platforms.
Analyse usability metrics and behaviour analytics to inform design improvements.
Client Services
Provide UX expertise to clients and stakeholders.
Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships.
Contribute to innovation through idea generation and implementation.
