Why this role matters
As our UI/UX Designer, you'll work closely with product managers and developers, you will help shape the user experience of our products and services by designing simple, intuitive and user-centred digital experiences.
What you'll own
Design and deliver UI/UX solutions, from wireframes through to production-ready assets across web and mobile platforms.
Develop, maintain, and champion a shared design system and pattern library to ensure visual and functional consistency across all products.
Create interactive prototypes of varying fidelity to facilitate rapid user testing and iterative feedback cycles.
Conduct and analyse user research to uncover insights on behaviour, needs, and pain points that inform design decisions.
Collaborate with product managers, solutions architects, and developers throughout the product lifecycle to ensure design intent is accurately implemented.
Define, document and present flows for seamless developer handover.
Conduct peer design reviews, providing constructive feedback and contributing to the overall quality and consistency of the team's output.
Regularly audit existing products to identify and prioritise usability, accessibility, and consistency improvements.
Stay current with industry trends, tools, and best practices, including emerging AI-assisted design workflows: actively integrating relevant advancements into the team's approach to boost quality and productivity.
Contribute to design strategy and cross-functional decision-making by offering informed design perspectives in planning, presentation and review processes.
Requirements
Experience we're looking for
Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Computer Science, or another relevant subject
A comprehensive portfolio with documented UI/UX case studies (required for application)
Minimum 2 - 5 years of professional experience in UI/UX Design
Highly proficient in Figma (required) and other relevant software (such as Claude Design, Framer and Useberry (or similar))
Fully integrated with AI-assisted design tools and workflows (Figma Make, Claude Code etc.)
Demonstrable experience designing for complex, multi-platform products (wireframing through to high fidelity designs and working prototypes)
Proficient in planning, conducting, analyzing and applying user research
Experience working within cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and business stakeholders
Deep knowledge of UX design patterns, information architecture, and design-thinking methodology
Proficiency working in and maintaining design systems and component libraries
Strong understanding of development handover processes and ability to produce production-ready assets
Advantageous: an area of expertise in a UX niche such as interaction design, UX writing, data analysis, illustration, low-code etc.
