Conducting farm visits, herd health assessments and production evaluations.
Assisting farmers with disease prevention, diagnosis and management.
Monitoring animal health, welfare and production performance.
Developing and implementing practical herd health and biosecurity programmes.
Investigating production challenges and providing evidence-based recommendations.
Working closely with farmers and farm teams to improve efficiency, productivity and responsible animal management.
Analysing production data and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Maintaining accurate clinical and production records.
Participating in ongoing client management and relationship building.
Keeping up to date with developments in production animal medicine, agriculture and responsible farming practices.
Gradually taking responsibility for an independent client portfolio as experience and confidence develop.
