Job Summary


We are looking for a video editor who will transform raw footage of story or audio into polished, engaging, and high-quality video content by cutting, arranging, and enhancing clips.
They collaborate with teams to align with creative visions, add motion graphics, sound effects, and color correction, and ensure projects meet deadlines for digital, television, or social media platforms. A link to a video assessment is attached at the end of Job Description .


Key Responsibilities


Post-Production: Trim, splice, and edit raw footage into a cohesive story or final cut.
Enhancement: Incorporate visual effects, graphics, animations, and sound design to improve video quality.
Collaboration: Work with producers, directors, and creatives to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback.
Audio Editing: Synchronize and edit audio, including voiceovers, music, and sound effects.
Optimization: Format and export videos for different platforms (e.g., YouTube, social media, broadcast).
Technical Management: Organize digital assets, manage files, and ensure compliance with legal requirements for footage usage.


Required Skills & Qualifications


Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
Creativity & Technical Skills:A keen eye for detail, pacing, and storytelling combined with technical skills in color correction and sound editing.
Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
Communication: Strong ability to communicate ideas and collaborate within a team.
Experience: Proven experience in video editing, typically demonstrated through a portfolio or showreel.Must have experience in motion graphics, editing movies.
