We are seeking a proactive, creative Video Production & Editing Intern to join our Brand & Communications team. This position will support the Video/Animation Creator and Brand Manager in producing short‑form and long‑form video assets that strengthen our brand storytelling across social, internal and stakeholder channels. The role is hands‑on and ideal for an early‑career candidate eager to develop production technique, post‑production workflow, and social video best practices.
Key Responsibilities


Support pre‑production planning: script notes, shot lists, props, location scouting, and equipment checklists.
Assist on shoots: camera setup, framing, lighting, audio capture, and on‑set logistics.
Edit and assemble video content for social media, website, presentations, and internal communications under supervision.
Produce short‑form assets (reels, TikToks, GIFs, stories) optimized for platform formats and audience behavior.
Prepare rough cuts, incorporate feedback, and deliver final masters with proper encoding and captions/subtitles.
Manage digital assets: ingest footage, apply consistent naming conventions, maintain version control, and backup media.
Contribute creative concepts and storyboarding for campaigns and social‑first series.
Support simple motion graphics/animation tasks (lower thirds, title cards, basic transitions) as needed.
Perform other duties to support the Brand & Communications team.


Skills & Qualifications


Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Film Production, Multimedia, Communications, Digital Media, or related discipline.
Practical experience or coursework with DSLR/mirrorless or camcorder cameras, lighting kits, and on‑camera audio.
Familiarity with editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve or equivalent).
Basic motion‑graphics skills (After Effects or similar) and ability to create GIFs and short‑form edits.
Understanding of social media formats and platform best practices (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn).
Strong visual storytelling sensibility, attention to detail, and an appetite for feedback and iteration.
Reliable, organised, able to manage time and multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Portfolio or demo reel (even student/academic work) preferred.
