We're looking for a Virtual Medical Assistant to support an independent psychiatric nurse practitioner with both telehealth and in-person patients.
What You'll Do:
Schedule appointments & send reminders
Handle patient intake & insurance verification
Manage and route patient portal messages
Prepare prior authorization paperwork
Submit and follow up on insurance claims
Send pre-approved patient communications
Log prescription refill requests for provider review
We're Looking For:
Behavioral/mental health practice experience in New York - required
Strong understanding of healthcare administrative workflows
Comfortable with HIPAA-compliant communication
Excellent organization and attention to detail
