Role Objective
Our client, a reputable hospitality establishment, is seeking a professional and customer-focused Waiter/Waitress to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, product knowledge, and adherence to high hospitality standards.
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Welcome guests warmly and respond promptly to their requests and inquiries.
Accurately take and relay food and beverage orders to the kitchen and bar teams.
Serve meals and drinks efficiently while ensuring guest satisfaction.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and equipment.
Present menu options confidently and provide recommendations when required.
Ensure tables are properly arranged and maintained throughout service.
Coordinate effectively with other departments to facilitate smooth operations.
Address guest concerns professionally and escalate issues where necessary.
Promote menu specials and upsell products in a courteous manner.
Prepare guest bills and process payments accurately.
Assist with restaurant opening and closing procedures.
Monitor order flow to ensure timely and correct service delivery.
Gather and share customer feedback to support continuous service improvement.
Undertake any other duties assigned by management.
Job Specifications and Qualifications
Diploma in Hospitality management, Food and Beverage Service or a related field.
At least 2 years similar experience in service in a busy high-end restaurant.
Proficiency in hotel management software.
