Key Responsibilities:
Carry out structural welding, fabrication, and repairs on containerÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂhandling and workshop equipment
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment safety and availability
Repair defects based on examiner defect lists and breakdown reports
Support mechanics and electricians during maintenance and major equipment failures
Complete work orders, confirmation slips, and maintenance records accurately
Follow HSSE rules, safe working procedures, and housekeeping standards
Work shifts and standby duties to support 24ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂÃÂhour terminal operations
What We Are Looking For:
Continuous improvement mindset: willingness to improve safety, quality, and equipment reliability
Qualified coded welder with relevant certification
3 - 5 years' welding experience in ports, mines, steel, or manufacturing environments
Experience in MIG, TIG, gas welding, flame cutting, and brazing
Ability to read welding procedures, drawings, and maintenance instructions
Willingness to respond to emergency repairs and work with minimal supervision
