Key Responsibilities


Supervise daily welding, hard-facing & fabrication activities
Allocate work and coordinate welders/support personnel
Interpret engineering drawings, specifications & welding procedures
Ensure compliance with API, BSI, ASME & AWS standards
Inspect weld quality, dimensions and finished work
Enforce strict HSE & quality requirements
Manage welding equipment, materials and tools
Minimize material waste and maximize productivity
Train, mentor and provide technical guidance to welders
Prepare progress reports and resolve operational challenges


Requirements


SSCE + 2 years technical experience OR ND/SSCE + 8 years' Hard-Facing Welding experience
Welding Certificate is compulsory
Strong ability to read drawings, manuals and specifications
Experience with welding tools, cutting equipment and fixtures
Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision
Strong problem-solving, planning and coordination skills
Ability to stand for extended periods and work safely in demanding environments.
