About The Role


We are seeking a qualified Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Wellbeing Coach within a fast-growing tech organization. This role focuses on supporting employee mental health, resilience, and overall wellbeing in a dynamic workplace environment.
The Wellbeing Coach will provide confidential one-on-one support sessions, facilitate group wellbeing programs, and contribute to mental health awareness initiatives within the company. The ideal candidate is passionate about preventive mental health, coaching, and workplace wellbeing, and enjoys working with professionals in a fast-paced corporate setting.


Key Responsibilities
Employee Psychological Support


Conduct confidential one-on-one and group wellbeing coaching sessions with employees.
Support employees in managing issues such as stress, burnout, anxiety, emotional wellbeing, and work-life balance.
Help employees develop practical coping strategies, resilience skills, and emotional regulation techniques.
Identify cases requiring clinical intervention and provide appropriate referrals when necessary.


Wellbeing Programs & Initiatives


Design and facilitate wellbeing workshops, group sessions, and webinars for employees.
Deliver sessions on topics such as stress management, emotional intelligence, resilience, productivity, and healthy workplace habits.
Contribute to the development of mental health awareness campaigns and wellbeing initiatives across the organization.


Employee Engagement & Culture


Promote a workplace culture where mental wellbeing is normalized and supported.
Participate in employee onboarding programs to introduce available wellbeing resources.
Collaborate with HR, People Operations, and leadership teams to identify emerging wellbeing needs.


Crisis Support & Risk Management


Provide initial psychological support to employees experiencing distress.
Conduct basic risk assessments where necessary and escalate high-risk cases appropriately.
Maintain strict confidentiality and professional ethical standards in all employee interactions.


Documentation & Reporting


Maintain accurate documentation of sessions in line with confidentiality and ethical guidelines.
Track engagement metrics and wellbeing trends to inform program improvements.
Provide periodic reports and insights to support organizational wellbeing strategy.


Key Requirements
Qualification & Experience


Master's degree (M.Sc. or M.Phil.) in Clinical Psychology from a recognized institution.
Must be registered with the Nigerian Association of Clinical Psychologists (NACP) or a relevant professional regulatory body.
Membership with the Nigerian Psychological Association (NPA) will be an added advantage. Experience
Minimum of 2 - 5 years professional experience in clinical psychology, counselling, or mental health practice.
Experience conducting individual psychological support sessions or therapy.
Previous experience in corporate wellbeing, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), or workplace mental health initiatives will be an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications


Training in therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, or Coaching Psychology
Experience working with young professionals in high-performance environments
Experience facilitating corporate training or group wellbeing sessions
