ob Requirements and Preferences

In order to qualify as a VR Intern we don’t necessarily require Workday HCM experience, rather we are looking for a specific type of candidate we can train to use Workday during our Internship programme.

What skills are we looking for?

Our roles are remotely based, meaning you will be working from your home office, connecting with your client and team on a daily basis.

To be successful in this type of environment, you will need to have the ability to communicate effectively (in English) with cross-functional teams, explain complex concepts in easy, understandable terms, align HR / business knowledge with Workday functionality, and proactively drive process improvements. You will need to be comfortable with video calls and be proactive in keeping communication channels open with your client and team.

Minimum Degree Required

• College or University Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or a related field of job experience
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Javascript or Python

Other Qualifications/Skills that will be beneficial but not mandatory.

• Any ERP system experience (e.g. SuccessFactors, Peoplesoft, SAP)
• Exposure to Workday tools such as Workday Studio, EIB’s, Core Connections and Workday API’s will be advantageous
• Software Design Courses
• Project manager Courses e.g. PRINCE2
• Human Resource work experience
• Customer Service work experience
