Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage workshop technicians and mechanics.
Allocate daily jobs and monitor workflow efficiency.
Ensure all vehicle services and repairs are completed to company and manufacturer standards.
Conduct quality control checks on completed work.
Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults when required.
Assist technicians with technical support and problem-solving.
Ensure workshop targets, productivity, and turnaround times are achieved.
Maintain health and safety compliance within the workshop.
Monitor workshop tools, equipment, and diagnostic machines.
Ensure proper use and care of workshop equipment.
Control job cards, labour hours, and workshop documentation.
Liaise with service advisors regarding repair progress and customer updates.
Assist with staff training and performance management.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the workshop.
Manage stock control and parts usage where applicable.
Minimum Requirements
Qualified Motor Mechanic / Red Seal certification preferred.
Minimum 5 years automotive workshop experience.
Previous supervisory or foreman experience advantageous.
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
Experience working on multiple vehicle brands.
Knowledge of automotive workshop systems and processes.
Valid driver's license.
Computer literacy and diagnostic software experience.
Good communication and leadership skills.
