Job Summary



The Account Officer is responsible for managing daily financial transactions, keeping accurate records, and supporting the finance department to ensure proper financial management of the company.



Key Responsibilities


Record daily financial transactions (income and expenses)
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records
Handle invoices, receipts, and payments
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
Assist in preparing financial reports (weekly/monthly)
Monitor cash flow and report any issues
Work with other departments on financial matters
Ensure compliance with company financial policies.


KPIs (Performance Measurement)


Accuracy of financial records
Timeliness of reports
Proper documentation of transactions
Error rate in financial entries
Compliance with financial procedures.


Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
1 - 2years experience in accounting or similar role
Basic knowledge of accounting principles
Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good organizational skills.
