Responsibilities
Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system.
Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Reconcile bank statements and company accounts.
Monitor cash flow and petty cash management.
Verify vendor invoices and process payments.
Prepare customer invoices and follow up on outstanding receivables.
Maintain accurate records of payables and receivables aging.
Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding payment queries.
Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support preparation of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow).
Prepare supporting schedules and reconciliations.
Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes.
Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
Assist internal and external auditors during audit processes.
Identify and report discrepancies or irregularities.
Provide financial data and analysis as requested by management.
Support cost tracking and project budget monitoring (especially for construction projects).
Participate in financial planning and cost control initiatives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with 3 - 5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
Professional certification (ACCA, ICAN, or equivalent) is an advantage.
Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
