About the role
Are you passionate about specialty coffee, delicious food, and flawless in-store execution? Artcaffe is looking for a dynamic Account Supervisor to take ownership of our branded products across all our outlets.
In this role, you will be the bridge between our central teams (production, logistics, marketing) and our branch teams. You will ensure that every cappuccino, every pastry, and every packaged product on our shelves tells the Artcaffe story perfectly. Key Responsibilities:
In-Store Branch Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for all Artcaffe branded product information and availability across all outlets.
Drive awareness and product knowledge on key categories with branch-level key personnel.
Utilize merchandising space effectively based on best-selling products per branch and overall sales targets.
Ensure merchandising in stores is maintained to high brand standards.
Collaborate with the central Babadogo team to ensure timely product availability, preventing out- of-stock situations.
Ensure effective stock rotation across all branches to avoid expiries.
Identify opportunities for Private Label (PL) packaged product growth, cross-selling, and upselling additional services.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration
Support larger projects led by the Head of B2B, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met.
Coordinate with internal teams (Finance, Procurement, Production, Logistics) to deliver results for Artcaffe branches.
Monitor project progress, chase task completion, and resolve issues as they arise.
Work with marketing teams to ensure in-store communications are displayed effectively. Reporting & Analysis
Share insights and understanding of branch performance at the weekly sales review.
Prepare and present regular sales reports on product and branch performance.
Provide gap analysis insights and recommendations to improve processes and outcomes for Artcaffe.
Problem-Solving
Address and resolve any client or branch issues in a timely and efficient manner.
Act as a trusted advisor to branch managers, helping them navigate complex operational situations.
Qualifications & Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Prior experience in customer account management, client services, or a sales role with a strong track record of managing relationships.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing needs.
Preferred (You stand out if you have):
Experience in an account management role within the food industry (HORECA segment).
Familiarity with analytics and reporting tools.
Ability to work independently AND as part of a team.
An established network within the HORECA industry in Kenya.
