ACO Nigeria is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Supervisor to oversee financial operations, reporting, compliance, and budgeting activities across the organization. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance while supporting the company's renewable energy operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle accounting including payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, and ledger management.
Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian tax regulations, IFRS standards, and company policies.
Oversee budgeting, cost control, variance analysis, and cash flow forecasting.
Monitor project-level financial performance for solar installations and supply contracts.
Support audits, investor reporting, grant applications, and tender-related financial submissions.
Supervise finance team members and ensure accuracy of accounting entries and reports.
Coordinate inventory reconciliation, invoicing, and stock count processes.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
ICAN certification.
Minimum of 5 years accounting or finance experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, IFRS, and financial reporting standards.
Experience using ERP systems and financial reporting tools.
Strong analytical, leadership, and organizational skills.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
