Senior Project Engineer – Solar Projects at ACO Nigeria

ACO Nigeria is seeking an experienced and results-driven Senior Project Engineer to join our growing renewable energy team. The ideal candidate will lead the planning, execution, installation, commissioning, and delivery of engineering and solar energy projects while ensuring quality, safety, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities


Plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects from material preparation through installation, commissioning, and final handover.
Ensure projects are delivered within approved timelines and project schedules.
Maintain compliance with approved designs, technical specifications, and engineering standards.
Lead and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and installation activities.
Monitor project progress and maintain accurate technical and project documentation.
Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders for smooth project execution.
Ensure strict adherence to HSE and operational best practices.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across project operations.


Requirements


Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related Engineering field.
5 - 7 years of experience in project execution, installation, commissioning, or engineering projects.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical standards.
Experience in site supervision and technical troubleshooting.
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering documentation tools.
Professional certifications will be an added advantage
