Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage the financial operations of our shipping and logistics company.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, managing receivables and payables, ensuring tax compliance, and supporting management with financial analysis and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate accounting records and financial transactions.
Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Monitor logistics and shipping-related costs and expenses.
Ensure compliance with tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
Assist with audits and financial controls.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
ICAN/ACCA certification is an added advantage.
Minimum of 3 - 5 years' accounting experience, preferably in shipping, logistics, or transportation.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
