Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA(K) qualification is mandatory
5-6 years of relevant accounting experience
Experience in FMCG, distribution, or HORECA industry preferred
Strong knowledge of AR, AP, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Candidates based in or familiar with the Mombasa market preferred
Key Responsibilities
Accounts Receivable & Payables: Manage invoicing, collections, supplier payments, reconciliations, aging reports, and maintain accurate financial records while ensuring timely processing and resolution of discrepancies.
Financial Reporting & Compliance: Support month-end and year-end closing, bank reconciliations, audits, tax documentation, inventory reconciliations, and preparation of financial and management reports.
Cash Flow & Controls: Monitor payment schedules, maintain proper documentation workflows, and ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
