Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for the following duties:
Prepare, track, analyse, and report budget variances.
Prepare and review monthly financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Handle tax matters and annual statutory returns.
Liaise with external auditors and support the execution of statutory audit exercises.
Ensure internal control systems, policies, and procedures are implemented in line with management requirements.
Supervise and coordinate the activities of accounting staff.
Requirements
Minimum of a First Degree or HND qualification in Accounting or a related field.
At least 7 years of relevant and proven work experience as an accountant.
Strong analytical, reporting, and supervisory skills.
