Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS
Control and reconcile fixed assets, debtors, and creditors
Perform bank, payment, stock, and balance sheet reconciliations, resolving discrepancies timeously
Oversee vehicle stock reconciliations and stock counts
Monitor parts and workshop cash sales
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly journals
Maintain and oversee the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely posting
Control branch financial activities, expenses, and risk management processes
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Proactively review accounting processes and recommend improvements
Support and guide junior accounting staff as required
Perform ad hoc accounting duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements
BCom Degree in Accounting or similar qualification
Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar accounting role within the motor industry
Valid Code 8 Driver's Licence
Solid understanding of dealership financial processes and controls
