Accountant

Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to oversee the reconciliation and documentation of all funds collected by our deposit mobilizers. The ideal candidate will ensure that all retrieved funds are accurately confirmed, properly documented, and seamlessly updated in our financial systems to maintain absolute financial integrity. Key Responsibilities & Duties Fund Reconciliation: Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation of all funds collected by deposit mobilizers against field reports and system logs. Retrieval Confirmation: Verify and confirm the exact amount of cash/digital funds retrieved from deposit mobilizers before vaulting or banking. Financial Documentation: Ensure meticulous updating and proper documentation of all collected monies, keeping ledger accounts precise and audit-ready. Discrepancy Resolution: Promptly investigate, flag, and resolve any variances between mobilizer collections, field reports, and physical cash or bank deposits. Reporting: Prepare regular reports on collection trends, mobilizer performance, and reconciliation statuses for management review. Requirements Candidates should possess a minimum of OND qualification with 0 - 2 years of work experience Applicants must reside around or close to Bodija and Agunpa, Oyo State.
