Minimum Requirements:
National Diploma in Supply Chain Management or relevant equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification
MFMA Certification will be added advantage
3 - 5 years' experience in a similar environment Supply Chain Management
Core Responsibilities:
Coordinate, monitor and control the fair and transparent adjudication process of tenders
Plan, organise, lead, manage, implement, control and monitor overall administrative and financial practices, ensuring compliance with accounting practices and Local Government Acts, in alignment with the overall finance strategy
Establish and manage strategic internal and external relationships inclusive of customer, service provider and relevant legislative agencies and structures
Evaluate bids to ensure compliance with policy, procedures and legislation
Compile Bid Evaluation report for submission to BSC / City Manager and present report to the BEC / BAC
Advice Departments of the SCM policies and procurement procedures
Implement risk management, governance and compliance policy and processes to identify and manage governance and risk expose liability
Monitor and enforce effective financial control, corporate governance and financial compliance
Drive an aligned customer service excellence culture, which enables rewarding relationships and allows others to provide exceptional customer service
