Minimum Requirements:


Diploma in Supply Chain Management / Procurement / Accounting or relevant equivalent NQF Level 6 qualification
3 - 5 years' experience in a supply chain management environment


Core Responsibilities:


Responsible for the execution and supervision of the CPO procurement process
Conduct and approve quote evaluations and recommend the appropriate supplier and approve purchase orders
Evaluate and recommend on formal written quotations (mini-tenders)
Implement the operational strategy and leadership to ensure the implementation of the operational procurement strategy as developed by Senior Management
Responsible for operational processes to ensure that compliance and the highest required standards are achieved in terms of supply chain management practices and policies
Implement and provide governance and risk management to comply with supply chain management policies and procedures
Ensure compliance and reporting on financial processes to adhere to accounting best practices required by the MFMA and National Treasury and other financial institutions
Provide customer service orientation to provide quality and effective customer service to all relevant stakeholders
