Minimum Required Qualification:
NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate or Grade 12 or National Senior Certificate for Adults)
At least 2 years' experience within a Payroll, environment
The Appointee should:
NQF 4 (National Senior Certificate / Grade 12 or equivalent)
At least 2 years' experience within a Payroll environment.
Medically fit to work in the specific business area.
Clear security screening record.
Clear credit record.
Valid driver's license (if applicable)
Advantageous Qualifications:
Level 5: Higher Certificates and Advanced National Cert Higher Certificates and Advanced National Vocational Certificates Business, Commerce and Management Studies
Additional Requirements:
NQF 5 (Diploma or Higher Certificate) in Finance / Payroll / Related filed will be advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
Systems and Administration Extraction of Employee and remuneration data from current systems, internal and external. Matching internal data with survey data and submission of Sibanye Stillwater data to market survey companies.
Reporting Extract relevant data from system for reporting purposes. Create data tables from info extracted for HR month end reports. Identification of anomalies and discrepancies.
Data & information Maintenance Check data on extracted reports and inform Operations of errors. Perform various other clerical tasks e.g., Recording employee information, such as exemptions, transfers, and resignations, in order to maintain and update payroll records, filing.
Building a values-based organisational culture Actively support and meaningfully participate in the execution of the segment specific organisational development plan. This support will manifest in the targeted shift in culture as described by a valid culture assessment.
ESG Compliance Align to international responsible mining principles. SA Gold Operations: Align to World Gold Council (WGC) Responsible Gold Mining Principles (RGMPs). SA PGM Operations: Enhance Together for Sustainability (eTfS) initiative.
SHE Compliance Participate in risk assessments and investigate and take appropriate action as per identified risks. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. SHE Management: Instil a culture of SHE leadership within the department. Participate in regional/local bodies and decision-making forums in the process developing a business relevant external environment, that will result in the longer-term sustainability of the Division.
