Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable AC Technician to join our maintenance team in a steel manufacturing plant in Ikorodu, Lagos.
The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems and ventilation equipment to ensure optimal performance across the facility.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair air conditioning and ventilation systems within the plant facility.
Diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs on AC units, chillers, compressors, and related equipment.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure efficient operation.
onitor system performance and ensure proper temperature control in offices, control rooms, and other designated areas.
Inspect electrical components such as wiring, motors, and thermostats connected to AC systems.
Replace defective components including filters, compressors, fans, and thermostats.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintenance standards.
Maintain proper documentation of maintenance activities and repairs carried out.
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance requests.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE, Trade Test, or Technical Certification in Air Conditioning / Refrigeration.
2 - 4 years of experience as an AC Technician, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Good knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration cycles, and electrical components.
