Job Summary
We are seeking an Application Support Engineer with 2 - 3 years of experience in backend development and application support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with SQL Server, Python or .NET technologies, and be capable of supporting business applications, integrations, and backend services on the Azure platform.
Key Responsibilities
Provide first-level support for business applications via phone and remote access
Develop and optimize T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects
Build backend services using Python or .NET (C#)
Develop and maintain REST APIs for integrations and automation
Monitor and support ERP, POS, and third-party system integrations
Troubleshoot system performance issues and data discrepancies
Ensure timely resolution of application-related issues
Accurately log issues into the Service Desk system
Document technical issues and resolutions
Provide technical support to group companies and end users
Requirements
2 - 3 years of experience in backend development or application support
Proficiency in Python or .NET/C#
Experience with SQL Server and REST APIs
Basic knowledge of Azure services and cloud integrations
Familiarity with ERP systems such as D365 or Odoo is an added advantage
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Good communication and documentation skills.
