Key Responsibilities-
Lead the delivery organization (warehouse, depot, middle & last mile) in the area for MCL.
Oversee and drive the financial reporting and financial performance of contract logistics in the EAA.
Strong networking ability and experience in the EAA market.
Ensure the right capabilities/competencies and staffing to deliver business needs and growth for the area.ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂï
Collaborate with the Technology, Solution Development, and Implementation teams to deliver quality integrated technology solutions.
Responsible for area delivery organization engagement. Own talent development and succession planning and promote the company culture.
Ensure a safe and compliant environment for our associates and partners.
Adopt a leading role on Health & Safety/ISO and other legal compliance issues across the Area, and prompt corrective actions where rules or standards are at risk of not being met.
Manage and improve MCL performance outcomes for our customers for the area in line with the agreed quality, quantity and cost aligned with Maersk operations/delivery standards.ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂï
Ensure economic performance through rigorous budget management and cost control.
Oversee the development and implementation of continuous improvement methodologies and tools to optimize processes, eliminate waste, streamline operations, and adopt global standards. *
Ensure transport network optimization for middle and last-mile transportation operation, standardization, and performance management.
ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂïOwn customer and site implementation for our customers in quality and in time as per the agreement with the customer and project plan.
Own the relationship with our outsourced operations, compliance and operational performance in line with customer SLAs.
Lead, implement and monitor the budget and uphold a strong focus on both cost control and budget achievement taking appropriate timely actions.
Who We Are Looking for-
Minimum 10 years' experience in contract logistics (warehousing and distribution).
The ideal candidate should possess an excellent understanding of delivery execution (warehouse and transportation), particular experience in an e-Commerce fulfilment environment would be beneficial.
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering / Economics/Supply Chain Management or a related field (Master's degree highly preferred).
Successful background in people leadership within a delivery/operations environment.
A proven track record working with a strategic mindset and ability to work in a complex matrix organization.ÃÂâÃÂÃÂÃÂï
Experience in a customer-centric environment, providing high-quality reactivity and flexibility.
In-depth knowledge of global logistics trends and industry best practices to drive supply benchmarking (Local and international markets).
Sound knowledge of supply chain technologies, in particular WMS, TMS, DPR, MRP and order management etc.
Experience in overseeing complex supply chains in highly integrated environments with multiple systems connected.
Insight and deep understanding of how people, process and technology work together for optimal supply chain operations.
