Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee sales operations for the Cream category within the assigned territory.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing distributor relationships, expanding market coverage, and ensuring strong product visibility across retail and wholesale channels.
The individual must possess strong FMCG sales experience, excellent leadership abilities, and a proven track record in territory management and sales target achievement.


Key Responsibilities


Drive sales growth and market penetration for the Cream product category within the assigned region.
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and distribution targets.
Manage and strengthen relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retail accounts.
Monitor stock levels, product availability, and market performance across outlets.
Ensure effective product merchandising, visibility, and brand presence in the market.
Lead, supervise, and motivate sales representatives and field teams to achieve performance objectives.
Conduct regular market visits to identify business opportunities and monitor competitor activities.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence for management review.
Ensure timely collection of payments and proper account reconciliation from distributors/customers.
Organize promotional activities and trade activations to increase brand awareness and sales.


Requirements


Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields
3 - 5 years' FMCG sales experience, preferably in personal care or cream products.
Proven experience managing distributors and sales territories.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
Ability to lead and manage field sales teams effectively.
Good analytical and reporting skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
Must be willing to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
