This position is accountable for converting innovation into sustained operational outcomes through structured delivery, executive engagement, and change leadership, working closely with Asset leaders.

Key Responsibilities
Asset Digital Innovation Strategy & Portfolio:

Build and maintain a prioritized innovation pipeline aligned to Asset performance goals, ensuring initiatives are value-led, scalable, and operationally adoptable.
Translate key asset challenges into digital/AI opportunities for production efficiency, deferment elimination, reliability enhancement, and subsurface interpretation acceleration.
Establish an innovation governance model covering intake, prioritization, stage-gates, value tracking, and scale decisions.

AI-Driven Production & Process Optimization:

Drive AI/analytics use cases that improve production and reduce operating constraints, including production optimization and operating envelope improvement.
Enable reservoir surveillance and performance optimization.
Support well performance diagnostics (gas lift optimization, water cut, sand risk, slugging, ESP performance, injection optimization).
Drive process optimization for facilities (compression, separation, utilities, energy optimization).
Lead solution development with internal and external experts from concept through deployment.

Deferment Reduction & Reliability Improvement:

Establish a data-driven deferment improvement program focused on proactive identification of deferment drivers and recurrence prevention.
Deliver predictive and prescriptive solutions such as predictive maintenance for rotating/static equipment.
Implement event prediction (failures, trips, upsets) and mitigation playbooks.
Advance condition monitoring and reliability analytics to improve uptime.

Subsurface, Wells & Seismic Insight Acceleration:

Improve subsurface decision quality and speed through AI-assisted seismic interpretation, reservoir modelling improvements, and integrated datasets.
Automate pattern detection for production anomalies and reservoir behaviour.
Support better well planning insight using integrated datasets across drilling/completions/production.
Ensure strong integration between wells, subsurface, production engineering, and facilities teams.

Data Improvement (Surface & Subsurface):

Lead initiatives to improve asset data quality, usability, and timeliness.
Drive engineering, wells, and subsurface data standards improvement.
Improve asset data interoperability across historian platforms.
Champion fit-for-purpose data foundations enabling advanced analytics and AI at scale.

Innovation Execution, Scaling & Vendor/Partner Enablement:

Deliver innovation via use-case definition, business case, MVP delivery, adoption, and scale-up.
Track value and benefits realization with operational handover.
Leverage ecosystem partners (OEMs, vendors, benchmarking communities, etc).
Embed cybersecurity, data privacy, operational resilience, and regulatory compliance by design working with the IT Department.

Cross-Functional Enablement: Security & Logistics:

Drive digital improvements in key enabling functions that impact asset performance.
Security: predictive threat analysis, situational awareness, incident prevention, access control optimization.
Logistics: planning optimization, route scheduling, fleet performance analytics, material availability improvement.
Align innovations to asset uptime, safety, and cost targets.

Executive Engagement & Change Leadership:

Build executive-level engagement with Asset and Corporate leadership.
Lead stakeholder alignment and change adoption plans to ensure solutions deliver outcomes.
Communicate performance impact, barriers, and value realization clearly.

Qualifications of the Representative
