REQUIREMENTS:
Undergraduate qualification (NQF Level 6) as recognized by SAQA in Finance/Investment Management/Financial Economics/Financial Accounting. 4 Years functional experience in a Treasury / Finance / Investment Management / Financial Accounting environment of which 2 years should be at a senior state accountant level or a supervisory level.
Knowledge: Policy Conceptualisation and Formulation (Compensation Fund policies, procedures and process). Knowledge of relevant regulations, laws and legislation (COIDA, PAIA, PSA, PSR, POPIA). Investment strategy & Planning. Professional Accounting Standards (GRAP/GAAP/IFRS). Treasury Policies and PFMA Regulations (Legislative Framework). Forecasting & Projections. Financial Risk Management and Control.
Financial Compliance. Information Processing. Financial Markets and Instrument (Financial Analysis). Digital Acumen (Financial Systems, Tools). GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) and King IV Requirements (Corporate Governance). Legislative Requirements: COIDA.

Review the reports on the position and performance of the investment portfolios.
Perform the investment accounting review functions of the portfolios. Monitor the daily cash flow of the Fund. Manage resources of the sub-directorate
