Role Brief


Support the effective management of plantation operations by coordinating field activities, supervising workforce, and ensuring optimal productivity across assigned divisions. The Assistant Division Officer plays a key role in executing agronomic practices and maintaining operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities


Assist in planning and executing daily plantation activities (planting, harvesting, pruning, and maintenance).
Supervise field workers and ensure productivity targets are met.
Monitor crop health, yield performance, and field conditions.
Ensure proper application of fertilizers, pesticides, and agronomic practices.
Maintain accurate records of field activities, labor, and input usage.
Support implementation of health, safety, and environmental standards.
Identify operational challenges and recommend improvements.
Coordinate logistics for harvesting and evacuation of fresh fruit bunches (FFB).
Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for field operations.
Ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.

Yield per Hectare Achievement > 85% annually
Harvesting Efficiency > 90% monthly
Labor Productivity Rate > 85%
Field Losses < 5% per harvest cycle
Input Utilization Efficiency > 90%
HSE Compliance Rate = 100%


Requirements/Qualifications
Educational Qualifications:


BSc or HND in Agriculture, Agronomy, Forestry, or related field
Minimum of 1 - 3 years relevant experience in plantation or farm management, preferably in oil palm operations.
Professional Certifications
Relevant agricultural or plantation management certifications (added advantage)
