Key Responsibilities


Support the Division Officer in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the oil palm plantation, ensuring production levels and quality standards are consistently met.
Assist in the efficient allocation and use of resources, including labor, equipment, and agricultural inputs.
Support the implementation of best agricultural practices, including planting, pruning, fertilization, and pest management.
Contribute to the development and execution of production plans aimed at achieving business objectives.
Monitor various stages of the production process, from planting to harvesting, to ensure optimal yields and product quality.
Assist in ensuring compliance with quality control measures, food safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
Provide support to farm managers, supervisors, and laborers, offering guidance and assistance to promote performance and professional development.
Help foster a workplace culture focused on safety, quality, and productivity.
Assist in managing the farm division's budget, tracking expenses, and supporting efforts to meet financial targets.
Monitor operational costs, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives.
Support the enforcement of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies, ensuring adherence to procedures and regulations.
Assist in implementing measures to prevent accidents, injuries, and environmental damage, promoting a strong safety culture.
Support the adoption of sustainable agricultural practices, including soil conservation, biodiversity protection, and efficient land use.
Assist in managing the irrigation system, ensuring adequate water supply and implementing water conservation strategies.
Contribute to the development and implementation of integrated pest management (IPM) programs to control pests and diseases effectively.


Requirements
Qualifications:


Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, or related field.
Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Agricultural Economics, or related field (optional).


Experience:


3- 5years of experience in oil palm plantation management.
Certification is an added advantage.
