Qualifications, Skills and Experience
MBA (Sales & Marketing), Polymer Engineering, or Graduate with Polymer Postgraduate Diploma
5-7 years' experience in polymer sales and business development
Strong understanding of PP, PE, PVC, and specialty polymer markets
Proven track record in achieving revenue and margin targets
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build long-term customer relationships
High ownership mindset with proactive problem-solving ability, strong collaboration skills, and a results-driven approach
Key Responsibilities
Business Development: Expand territory sales, manage key accounts, acquire new customers, and achieve agreed margin targets while maintaining a structured product-customer matrix. (Polymers PP, PE, PVC & Specialty Grades)
Distribution & Revenue Management: Deliver tonnage and revenue targets, monitor stock movement, and ensure timely customer collections.
Credit & Cost Control: Recommend and monitor customer credit limits, maintain accurate debtor records, and support stock reconciliation processes.
Market Intelligence & Reporting: Conduct market analysis, track industry trends, perform regular client visits, and submit structured sales and pipeline reports.
