Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Graduate from a recognized university (Postgraduate Management qualification preferred)
10-15 years' experience in Institutional/B2B sales, preferably in paints or related sectors
Strong track record in account-led growth and corporate sales leadership
Proven experience working with architects, builders, consultants, and government enterprises East Africa experience is mandatory
Experience working in African/International markets or knowledge of Swahili is an added advantage
Strong strategic thinking, stakeholder management, and leadership capability
Key Responsibilities
Growth Strategy & Market Expansion: Drive corporate sales targets across Tanzania by executing account-led growth strategies, identifying high-potential segments, and strengthening go-to-market plans to increase revenue and margin performance.
Lead Generation & Channel Development: Build and scale institutional partnerships, referral networks, and ecosystem alliances while improving lead conversion and expanding strategic B2B accounts.
Team Leadership & Performance Management: Lead and structure high-performing corporate sales teams, define clear KPIs, and drive a disciplined performance culture aligned to pipeline strength and predictable growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Analytics: Align sales growth with operational capability by collaborating with internal teams, strengthening MIS/reporting systems, and feeding market intelligence into pricing and product strategy.
