The Branch Agent is the first point of contact for customers visiting or calling a Royal Mabati Factory Ltd branch. The role ensures a consistent Royal Mabati brand experience, supports conversion of walk-in and inbound inquiries into sales, and strengthens customer trust in Royal Mabati roofing and building solutions.

Key Skills & Qualifications:


Education: Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Sales, or related field.
1-3 years' experience in retail sales, customer service, or building materials industry preferred.
Experience in roofing, construction, hardware, or manufacturing sectors is an added advantage. Strong communication and interpersonal skills (English & Swahili).
Customer-focused with a sales mindset.
Ability to explain technical products in simple terms.
Organized, accurate, and detail-oriented.
Comfortable working in a busy branch environment.
Basic computer literacy (CRM, Excel, POS systems).
Results-oriented, strategic thinker, and proactive problem-solver.
Demonstrated motorcycle riding proficiency will be considered an added advantage.


Key Responsibilities.


Receive and professionally engage walk-in customers at Royal Mabati branches.
Understand customer needs (roofing type, measurements, budget, location, project stage).
Guide customers on pricing, promotions, and lead times.
Handle quotations and order processing.
Handle all incoming customer calls and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally.
Record all walk-in and call inquiries in the approved Royal Mabati lead tracker or CRM.
Uphold Royal Mabati brand standards at branch level: Product displays, Price lists and brochures, Branding and personal presentation
Work closely with Field Sales representatives, Production & Logistics teams.
Collect customer feedback on products, pricing, service, and delivery.
Handle basic customer complaints professionally and escalate as required.
Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports on: Walk-in traffic, Inbound calls, Leads generated and Conversion status.
